Woah, this was great! After I literally seen this book everywhere, I knew I couldn’t wait any longer to read it. Let’s just say I loved it, and run don’t walk and get yourself a copy to read! This book is set back in the 1900s following young Kya who was left to fend for herself in the marsh by her house, you follow her story as she grows up, when in the late 1900s Chase Andrews is found murdered and Kya the “Marsh Girl” is a suspect the quiet, shy girl that doesn’t have many friends, or family. Wow Delia had me hooked I couldn’t wait to read about Kya, everything she went through and how she adapted. I loved her, cried for her, wanted to give her a hug I was truly invested and finished this book in one day! This book has so much in it, there is mystery, love, friendship, failures, heartache, compassion, surprises my mouth literally dropped, and just about everything else.

Overall there was not one bad thing about this book, I just simply loved it, and would recommend it to anyone who will listen! This was my first from Delia but not my last!
